Tire size calculation formula

For the benifits of all 4x4 guys whom are wondering how tall your tires are, below is a formula in which you can easily use to calculate.

Tire Diameter = (2 x Section Width x Aspect Ratio) /2540 + Rim Diameter

ie: 235 x 75 R15

Tire Diameter = (2 x 235 x 75) /2540 + 15 = 28.88"

Walla, you get your tire size in inches.
